1. Service Staff (non-halal)

Job description

  • Complete opening and closing duties – cleaning dining premises and dining wares, properly store and restock items, set up work areas.
  • Greet and escort customers to their tables.
  • Take customer orders, explain menu items and provide recommendations on food and beverage choices accordingly.
  • Serve food and drinks from the kitchen/bar to the customers.
  • Handle payment and operating point-of-sales machine and cash register.
  • Clean and reset tables between customer visits.
  • Maintain cleanliness of restaurant premise at all times.

Employment requirements

  • Full Covid-19 vaccination.
  • Foreigners applying must possess a valid work permit.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Able to work in a non-halal establishment.
  • Willing to work evening shifts.

2. Kitchen Commis (non-halal)

Job Description

  • Assist the Chef de Partie (CDP) and Head Chef on preparation and cooking according to recipes/menu of the day.
  • Prepare mise-en-place according to menu of the day.
  • Ensure consistent quality in food production.
  • Prepare and cook food items in a timely manner, while maintaining food quality.
  • Clean work stations and perform kitchen cleaning duties.
  • Monitor and report on food stocks.
  • Receive deliveries and verify order items are of good quality.
  • Maintain food cost and keep kitchen wastage to a minimum.
  • Report on issues involving hygiene, safety, and equipment maintenance.

Employment Requirements

  • Foreigners applying must possess a valid work permit.
  • Prior working experience in the kitchen is preferred.
  • Able to work in a non-halal establishment.
  • Willing to work evening shifts.
